If you’re a member of one of the busiest K-pop groups in Korea, what would your day off look like? Here’s a glimpse of TWICE’s Jeongyeon and Tzuyu’s day off.
The duo did volunteer work for a shelter for abandoned animals. This is despite having hectic schedules and preparing for tours and concerts. Twice is undeniably one of the busiest K-pop idol groups. They have countless shows, albums or single releases, international concerts, and world tours. They perform in different cities across America, Europe, and Asia.
With upcoming shows and tours, one can only imagine how demanding their training days are. Their days off are eagerly anticipated for rest and attending to other important matters. Yet Jeongyeon and Tzuyu chose to give their time and effort to volunteer with animals.
Many celebrities are seen holding their pets and taking selfies with their dogs, which is adorable. But Jeongyeon and Tzuyu brought loving animals to the next level. They got their hands dirty and moved some muscles to help people at the shelter for abandoned dogs. Joining together in volunteer work like this is not an everyday occurrence for busy K-pop idols. And this is what makes the two stand out from other celebrities.

Volunteering is a family affair for Jeongyeon. She and her actress sister, Gong Seungyeon, were also seen volunteering, donating supplies, and giving financial support to the Anseong Animal Shelter last year. This has been their practice over the years.
Tzuyu, on the other hand, also goes for volunteer work with her mom when she gets vacation days.
In 2020, she lost her long-time pet dog, Gucci, which she posted on her social media account.

While dogs leave paw prints on our hearts, TWICE idols also leave an indelible mark on our hearts, serving as inspiration for everyday people like us. Proof that being famous or busy does not hinder anyone from making a positive impact and helping those in need.
