Friends' stars on matthew perry's passing

I think it is safe to say that nobody, indeed, was ready for the news that devastated us all a few days ago. On October 28, news broke that Matthew Perry was found lifeless in his Pacific Palisades home. Initial reports say that he was found in his jacuzzi without any trace of illegal substances. It was said that he had a heart attack, but the final results are yet to be released.

Matthew is best known as Chandler Bing in the long-time sitcom “Friends.” His co-stars, who aren’t just his co-stars but have long grown as family, released a joint statement in response to his death. The statement reads:

“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew,” the Friends cast said in the statement released to the BBC.

“We were more than just castmates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now, we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time, we will say more, as and when we are able.

For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow are yet to release any personal or individual statements. People are watching over their socials to see any further posts about Perry.

For now, our utmost respect goes to all of them and Perry’s family and friends as they navigate through this “unfathomable loss.”
